Essentrics® Strength & Stretch

Summer in the Park!

Dates: WED June 5, 12, 19, 26, July 3, 17, 24, 31, Aug 7, 21

Note: NO class July 10 and Aug 14

Weather (Tstorms) make up date = Aug 28. We also have the option on some weeks to move to Covenant Church if inclement weather.

Time 9-10am

Level: MIXED

Pace: Moderate (This class focuses on enhancing strength, mobility, posture, and well being in active individuals)

Location: Pioneer Park Old Sauk Rd in Town of Middleton

Cost: $170 (cash/check) for all 10wks | $200 (10 Punch Pass) | $22.00 Drop In

Summer 2024

Dates: WED June 5, 12, 19, 26 | July 3, 17, 24, 31 | Aug 7, 21, 28

Note: NO class on July 10 and Aug 14

Time: 10:45-11:45am

Level: Beginner-Intermediate

Pace: SLOW

This class focuses on enhancing posture, restoring movement in joints, gentle strength, balance, and well-being. Chair modifications are offered where possible for those who need.

Class is open to age 13yrs +

Class Objectives: upon completion participants will be able to

learn & practice research backed breathing and inner layer core muscle exercises
discuss healthy pelvic floor habits for sport & life
describe how soft tissue mobility work optimizes inner layer core strength
demonstrate at least one key coordination technique for long term pelvic health
demonstrate good form for 3-5 (appropriately leveled) foundational stabilization exercises

February & April 2024

"Perimenopause Pearls" and Women's Health Physical Therapy seminar at Fleet Feet - Madison. Topics include:

understanding scope of pelvic health and women's health P.T.
sleep benefits/barriers/tips
core strength, breath training and aerobic exercise
nutrition/hydration/medical resources

100% participation fees given to local non profit Tri4Schools. A HUGE Thank You to attendees for supporting holistic health education & learning.

May 2024

optimizing strength & aerobic training during perimenopause
techniques to boost sleep & recovery
hydration considerations & tips for conversing w/medical provider

In-kind donation in lieu of speaker fee to go to a local non profit benefitting the health & safty for women and children. A HUGE Thank You to our host and to attendees for supporting holistic health education.

100% participation fees (+ CoreActive matching donations) were given to two local non-profit organizations chosen by staff - Occupaws and Special Olympics Wisconsin. Both non-profits received $400 apiece! WIN-WIN-WIN!
