Women's Health Workshop Part I: Optimizing Sports Performance & Pelvic Health in Perimenopause - Research Backed & Clinical Experience Based

Schedule:
1. Identify a valid/reliable sleep screening tool and practice two or more tips to enhance recovery/sleep quality and quanity
2. List and describe rationale for two specific types of strength training crucial for optimizing health and performance
3. Describe three characteristics of wise aerobic training
4. List recommended daily intake, real food sources, and role of the following four nutrients: water, fiber, protein, iron.
Intended Audience: Active and athletic women age 30-50 and those to care for them: PTs, MDs, NPs, PAs, DOs, coaches, personal trainers, athletic trainers, teachers, massage therapists, naturopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and the college educated public.
This seminar is approved by the WI Physical Therapy Association for two (2) hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit for PTs
